The suitably titled ‘Free Sprits’ paintings encapsulate the essence of Simon Kenevan’s work; his spectacular seascapes shimmer with sunlight reflected on the sea.

Simon Kenevan captures the motion and the shifting swell, then closer to shore the waves roll in and break, almost at our feet.

In fact Simon created some of his own waves in 2006 when he was named a finalist of the UK wide competition to find undiscovered artistic talent.

In search of fresh inspiration British born Simon Kenevan moved to the US in 2003 where he paints from his studio located close to Atlanta, Georgia.
