Sarah Graham
Sarah Graham is 2008’s new girl on the block. Clearly inspired by vivid colour, her larger than life paintings of childhood imagery; sweets and candies, robots, doll figures and bath-time yellow ducks evoke familiar memories from our early years.
A realist painter with a big heart Sarah Graham selects her bold imagery with great care; “the main reason I choose them is because they make me laugh” she explains.
Using oils on canvas gives her the ability to use a rich palette of colours and textures. And if you believed her works were photographic art you wouldn’t be the first!
Sarah Graham studied in Leicester in the UK’s East Midlands. She now lives in her childhood hometown of Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
