Richard Rowan’s artistic ability was spotted early on in his career - winning the coveted “Artist of the Year” Award from a UK national newspaper.

A break in his rise to prominence followed, travelling widely around the world, which Richard Rowan reveals “changed my whole outlook on life”.

He is constantly observing the skies around him whilst other people he imagines “are doing their day to day routines, missing what is happening above there heads”.

Richard Rowan has spent the last three years developing his individual style, producing dramatic skyscapes uniquely on glass. Laying down the paint from beneath the glass, whilst watching the piece take shape from above.
