In 2001 Reuben Colley staged his first sell-out show and received the prestigious ‘Up and Coming Published Artist of the Year’ award from the Fine Art Trade Guild.

With further sell-out exhibitions, Reuben Colley sealed his reputation as one of the art world’s brightest new talents in 2002, when his work was chosen to be exhibited in the front windows of Harrods, London.

Reuben Colley quickly became the new kid on the block, his paintings often focusing on atmospheric urban scenes and tranquil beaches.

Reuben Colley is recognised as the ‘Painter Laureate’ of Birmingham, England.
