Peter Smith

Peter Smith joined one of the largest publishers of limited edition fine art in 2005, and within a few short months he became one of their most popular artists.

Many images including the iconic “So, it’s not fancy dress then…?” displaying the characteristic creatures that Peter Smith creates sold out in a matter of weeks.

The ‘Zeppos’ and ‘Impossimals’ as collectors of Peter Smith paintings know them come in often rotund shapes displaying piebald camouflage patterns and zebra-like stripes.

Based in Nottinghamshire, England, Peter Smith regularly updates his blog, explaining the stories behind his paintings, the motivations and inspirations and even insights into shopping expeditions!
