Pam Carter
Award winning Scottish artist Pam Carter uses mainly oils to produce her “deep blue” sea, “rugged” land and “big” sky scapes.
She is drawn to the dramatic features of Northern Scotland for her inspiration, secluded fishing villages along with their working boats and tightly packed cottages perched a-top high rise cliff faces.
It’s often the light in this remote part of Britain that enthuses her. Transforming the forces around her into bold contrasting images “I ultimately want to create a visual sensation” Pam Carter explains.
A teacher by profession Pam Carter was born in Africa and whilst a teenager moved to her adoptive homeland, Scotland.
