Mark Wilson

Mark Wilson has been winning art and painting competitions since his mid-teens. It is not surprising that exposure at exhibitions in the UK as well as Holland, Japan and the USA has earned him awards worldwide.

Born in Sheffield, Mark Wilson's father was an art teacher and uncle a painter so it seemed inevitable that Mark Wilson would take to art.

Inspiration for Mark Wilson comes from the English Peak District where he tries to capture the ever-changing sky and sunlight. As Mark enthuses: “it fascinates me, the idea of not knowing how a painting will end up / finished work will look”.

Now signed to Washington Green, Mark now specialises in contemporary florals, making a statement with his ‘Power Flowers’.
