Louise Braithwaite

It’s not simply enough to describe Louise Braithwaite’s work as ‘Naive’. Her graphic art background adds an extra special something to her paintings. It might even be you! Especially if you've commissioned a work from Louise.

“I could cite a variety of creative influences; the ones that are the most apparent in my work are of course L. S. Lowry, I was once told that my paintings are “happy Lowry’s” which delighted me!” explains Louise.

With a love of the sea as a constant in Louise Brathwaite’s life and as a theme running through her work, she still lives in Hampshire on England’s south coast.
