Gordon King

Gordon King has been exhibiting for over 30 years, including at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Royal Institute of Painters and at numerous one man shows. Gordon King’s beautiful figurative paintings are also award winners, with the Fine Art Trade Guild voting him ‘Published Artist of the Year’.

Regarding himself as a sentimentalist, with romance, happiness and emotion evident in his paintings, Gordon King explains “figurative painting has always inspired me, the human form being my main love ... whether the race goers at Royal Ascot, picnickers at Henley Regatta, or the movements of a dancer at the Royal Ballet”.

The Buckinghamshire countryside is home for Gordon King, where his studio looks out across the village of Chalfont St Peter.
