Barbara James

Barbara James has twice been a finalist in London's Public Eye competition. So it’s not surprising that she has also been singled out for commercial success too.

One of her vibrant images was selected by a UK high street store to be transformed into a greeting card. The impressive result - sales of over 20,000 cards.

A relative newcomer, Barbara James appears to be making up for lost time, typically working on several paintings simultaneously.

Most definitely a sixties’ child; growing up in the flower power era has had a strong influence on Barbara James, which is evident in her work - her love of depth and texture and radiance of vibrant colour.
