AJ Callan creates quite a splash with his humorous piggy bank characters with human-like traits.

His first release of giclée limited editions featured the piggy bank shaped individuals in amusing takes on real life situations – each with a monetary twist.

Ever the optimist AJ Callan has a tremendously positive view on life, “my wine glass is always half full!” he says. In fact, the odd glass of red helps towards the finished piece, especially when brainstorming his ideas and developing rough sketches.

But it’s the end result that means the most, “the sheer pleasure of creating something totally unique is immeasurable.”
